Formats

The exact format will be confirmed once all teams have signed up and final numbers are known upon confirmation of full invitee team numbers. For different scenarios, the formas are as follows:

• Variable Group Stage: X groups of 4 teams (BO1)

16 teams - 4 groups of 4 teams, top 2 per group advance into single-elim, best-of-three
32 teams - 8 groups of 4 teams, top 2 per group advance into single-elim, with mixture of best-of-one and best-of-three
64 teams - 16 groups of 4, top 1 per group advance into single-elim, with a mixture of best-of-one and best-of-three
128 teams - single-elim, with a mixture of best-of-one and best-of-three

• Single-Elimination Bracket (BO1 and BO3)
  Quarter-Finals onwards to be BO3
  5/6th and 3/4th matches to be played for qualification and placement
  Top 6 from each N & EU advance to Closed Qualifier (Total 12)

Win = 3p
OT Win = 2p
OT Loss = 1p
Loss = 0p
