This week we sit down and talk with Siege Champion, InT Maverick.

We’re back with UKIN for Summer ‘21 and we’re going to sit down with community members, players, and casters to discuss everything UKIN and Rainbow Six Siege!

This week we sit down with InT_Maverick, a Twitch Affiliate, Siege Streamer & Siege Champion.

So, to kick things off, for those who might not know you, who is InT Maverick?

I am a content creator across Twitch, Youtube & TikTok, I focus on having fun, I leave all the good plays to the pro’s. I love creating and it’s all I’ve ever done. I focus on always pushing the boundaries of content creation and making a ton of friends along the way.

You stream a few different titles but Rainbow Six seems to be a more prominent one on your channel, what is about Siege that you enjoy?

Back in 2009 my homies and I played only Modern Warfare 2, getting clutch’s and epic plays were insanely fun, Siege is the only thing that can really scratch that itch, no other game has come close. Getting that snipe or that ace has a feeling like no other. I also feel confident in my knowledge with the game that I can create funny moments.

Who are your go-to operators for Ranked? Both Attack and Defence.

On attack I play Kali, I know I know, however, I use to main Glaz, so things only got better. For some reason I’m just really good with Kali, I can’t explain it. On Defence, I normally mix it up between Rook and Smoke. I love the Siege Champions skin and smoke is just a great operator for the team.

You recently joined the Siege Champions Program; how has it been being part of that?

It was super nice to be invited to the program, I have been creating content on Siege for about 2 years, uploading daily on TikTok for long enough, it felt nice to have that recognised. I always felt a bit left out with the Siege community, however, the siege champions program allowed me to meet such lovely people, and then allowed me to further meet more siege creators.

You have done some amazing activations for charity, most recently the 24 hours of Rainbow Six ranked play when our new season North Star launched. What is the craziest thing you would love to do for charity?

That event really took it out of me, to be honest, however was streaming Siege about 15 hours later, after a good sleep. One of my life goals is to drive across the world for charity, with it live-streamed. Starting in Cape Town and finishing in Argentina. I have already driven a Reliant Robin, a 3 wheeled car 1000 miles for charity so building my way up!

Do you have any recommendations for someone wanting to get started with streaming?

If you want to make streaming a career, you need to put the work in, it’s not something you can pick up and put down. It requires so much time and effort. A schedule is imperative, you always know when your favourite show is on TV. Then you need to grow on multiple platforms, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram for example. I’m always down for a chat about streaming tips as I ran my own podcast about it.

Create your own team - you are the coach, what 5 players are you picking up? It can be any player Pro or Am across the world.

I would definitely pick Doki, only heard good things and love seeing the ranked plays. Would grab Nathan to go with too. Fonkers is a joy to watch, alongside Jonka. As you can tell I’m a fan of a certain team. I would probably bring Pengu out of retirement, there’s always a price.

Any final comments or places for people to follow you?

You can catch me sniping people on Siege on most platforms, however I would love to make some new friends in the Siege community, and I’m always down to play! My handle is InTMaverick on everything!
